An applicant wanting to apply for a skilled visa in Australia should first check his or her occupation in the relevant SOL (Skilled Occupation List) of Australia and then obtain the required documents, namely Skill Assessment and an English proficiency test, namely IELTS (International English Language Testing System). After gathering the necessary documentation, submit your Expressions of Interest (EOIs) on the Skill Select system and check your eligibility points (minimum 65). Through a monthly Skill Select invitation round, the immigration department now evaluates the submitted EOIs and releases the names of candidates who received ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for relevant skilled visas.

You must submit a complete application and papers for the required visa within 60 days of receiving the visa invitation. Following that, Australia’s immigration department will review the submitted application and papers and award a visa approval
